The next issue included a story "Light Into the Abyss" by Sarena Ulibarri. It featured "a cryptocurrency that was backed by carbon reductions.” At that point I stopped reading.

Everyone involved knew that cryptocurrency uses so much energy that it needs to be counterbalanced, but they printed it anyway amongst stories focused on simple, clean living.
